On the historic day of their 60th Anniversary celebration, Wuhan Textile University, a longstanding ally of the textile industry worldwide, invited Northern University Bangladesh (NUB), a leading university for quality textile education in Bangladesh since 2009.

Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir, Dean (FoSE) & Head (DTE) was present as a representative of NUB. He delivered valuable insights in his speech, into the current circumstances of Bangladesh textile industry. The day was particularly special for NUB as a long-cherished MoU, the belt and road initiative higher education alliance textile industry, was signed as a mark of friendship between the two respective universities. This will allow an exchange program,conferences and research collaboration between WTU and NUB. Delegates of various Textile Universities from around the world such as United Kingdom, Kenya, Cambodia, Japan, Pakistan, Australia were present on the occasion.
